This Past Dance Season

A look back (2020 – 2021)

Throughout Project C’s incredible journey, our mission has always remained the same; to provide extraordinary dance training. As the driving force of the studio, the administration and our incredible faculty will continue to bring Project C’s classrooms to life for the 2022-2023 season. In creating our programming for the new season, we took the time to re-evaluate the growing and changing needs of our dancers so that we could continue to focus on what has made Project C extraordinary for the past 15 years – our student body.

Our new schedule is based on feedback from our families and created with the student experience in mind. Classes have a natural progression, and our advanced dancers have more options to build their schedules. In order to provide more opportunities to our students, we added a dedicated class for student choreography, which will have its own performance in the spring. Our National Dance Honor Society Chapter will have an operating board to organize events and programs to give back. Through our new masterclass series, our company dancers and solo artists will have chances to work with the greater dance community like never before!

This year, we have an additional week of classes, and we are bringing back the Winter Showcase as an informal showing of the student’s mid-year progress. Emily Runkle will have her professional dance company, Embody Ballet, in residence with us, and we will also have our founder, Jen Graham providing in-house somatic movement repatterning. This will also be the first year we have our Core Youth Company, along with our advanced Catalyst Dance Company.

These new programs mean more opportunities for more students, and we can’t wait to see them thrive. We are dedicated to making our 16th season our best season yet, and we are so happy to have you with us.
