Her professional repertoire includes soloist roles with Ballet Chesapeake, Misako Ballet Company, Merge Dance Company, and New York State Ballet, and she has performed works by Balanchine, Edward Stewart, and Eva Anderson, as well as the full length classics. Emily choreographs for both contemporary and classical companies and schools and has been teaching at Project C Studio since 2011, where she became Ballet Director in 2020. In 2019, she co-founded Ballet Embody, Westminster’s first professional ballet company, and has directed and choreographed full length performances such as Charrette and An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe. Emily also founded and directs the Ballet Embody Student Company, comprised of Project C students pursuing pre-professional training and performance experience. She also coaches students for ballet competitions such as the Youth American Grand Prix, and is driven to assist dancers in forging their own unique path in the dance world.
